Immigration to Canada: Canadian Immigration Classes

 Like most other countries, Canadian immigration limits the number of slots for prospective immigrants. Canada usually has immigration openings each year for between 200,000 and 300,000 new immigrants, but there are many more than that which apply each year for acceptance.

There are numerous categories or immigration classes in which you can apply. Each has its merits, but only certain ones will uniquely fit your personal qualifications. The most common class for which prospective immigrants apply is the Federal Skilled Worker or Professional Class. It it this class that has the highest acceptance rate.

One of the best ways to enhance your chances is to apply in a category which:

* has a great demand, and
* for which you are definitely qualified

If you are temporarily in Canada already as a student, then your best choice would be the Canadian Experience Class.

If you already have family in Canada, then the Family Class might be your best route.

An entrepreneur or investor might go the Business Class route.

There is no one class that fits all. If you are interested in immigrating to Canada, and you do not have the $1,000 to $3,000 required to hire an immigration consultant (which may or may not actually improve your chances), then My Immigration Consultant is for you
